Ordering
Every cake by Penny is custom designed and made. I do not have cakes sitting around waiting to just put Happy Birthday or Best Wishes on them. Your cake will be made fresh with quality ingredients and will be custom designed for your occasion with your colors and ideas. Cakes should be ordered at least a week in advance but some rush orders may be possible. Delivery within 30 miles of Bailey, NC is included for any cake over $200. Delivery fee of $20 for smaller cakes delivered within 30 miles of Bailey, NC. Deliveries farther than this area will be on a mileage basis.

Pricing – These prices include basic decorations. More intricate designs will incur an additional charge.
1/4 sheet cake (9″x13″) will serve approximately 30

8″ round – 4 layers, approximately 4 inches high. Will serve approximately 25

Larger cakes are priced based on servings. Buttercream frosting and decorations start at $3.00 a serving. Fondant covered cakes start at $3.50 a serving. Topsy Turvy cakes start at $4.00 per serving. Buttercream flowers and fondant swags are included in these costs. There will be additional costs for fondant/gumpaste flowers and more intricate designs. Call for a quote.
Custom shaped cakes are more intricate in design and are priced accordingly. Call for a quote.
Cupcakes are $2 each with swirled buttercream frosting, minimum order of a dozen.
Flavors
No pre-made frozen cakes here like you would get at a store bakery! Every order is made from scratch with secret family recipes that have been handed down for generations (or found on the web)

- Vanilla Pound Cake – so good! Dense and super moist.

- Red Velvet – southern style with lots of cocoa and super dense. Always best with Cream Cheese icing.
- Cherry Vanilla
- Strawberry – described as “slap you mama” good!
Frosting Flavors
- Vanilla Buttercream (can add flavors to match your cake flavor)

Filling flavors – put something yummy inside your cake! Additional charge may apply.
- Cream Cheese and jam (my favorite is raspberry)

A non-refundable deposit of $50 must accompany your order. The total amount due must be paid at least 10 days before your event at which point it is non-refundable. You may pay by check, cash or credit card. A $25 fee will be charged for any returned checks.
